The course focuses on the main concepts of plastic surgery that can be relevant for every medical doctor.
During the course, the students would learn the basic principles of wound healing and acquire how to manage post trauma, malformation or oncological reconstruction as well as cosmetic procedures
The student must achieve the following goals:
1) To know the stages of wound healing.
2) To Indicate the basic techniques and principles in plastic surgery.
3) To describe the etiology, clinical and treatment options in burns injuries.
4) To explain the principal congenital anomalies, oncological and post traumatic pathologies that may require reconstructive surgery.
5) To describe the principles of the cosmetic surgery.
